Minutes  of the February 22, 2010 Sheridan County Commissioners meeting.

The Sheridan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session at 9 A.M. In the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. All members present.

Andersen stated that the open meeting law poster is posted in the back of the room and that the meeting was published in the legal newspaper of record.

Krotz made a motion to accept the agenda. Kling seconded the motion. With a voice vote all voted aye.

Kling made a motion to approve the minutes of 2-18-10 with corrections. Krotz seconded the motion. With a voice vote all voted aye.

The board approved and signed salary checks.

Barb VanKerrebrook, RSVP Director presented the board with checks to sign and bank statements to review. She also informed the board that she would be advertising for employment in her office.

Road Superintendent Yardley informed the Board that it might be necessary to reclassify a section of 790th Road from “minimum maintenance” to “local”. The ˝ mile section of road begins 5 miles east of White Clay and will serve as the only access to a new residence on the South Dakota side of the border. The board will review this with legal counsel prior to action.
